400-Ton Press Arm Machining Project
Global completed the repair and precision machining of a 400-ton press arm using one of our 4-axis horizontal mills. The project included removing the worn sleeve, preparing the bore, and installing a new sleeve with a liquid nitrogen shrink fit for maximum holding strength and accuracy. Once installed, final precision machining was completed in-house. Large components, tight tolerances, and critical equipment repairs are the kind of demanding projects our team is built to handle.
